Calendar Integrations

Connect your calendar to automatically detect meetings, sync attendee information, and build context.

Google Calendar

Karnyx syncs your Google Calendar events to automatically detect meetings, extract attendee information, and identify meeting join URLs.

Setup Steps:

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Calendar
  2. Click Connect Google Calendar
  3. Sign in with your Google account and grant read-only calendar access
  4. Karnyx performs a 30-day cold-start sync to import past and upcoming meetings
  5. New events sync automatically in real-time via webhooks

Outlook / Microsoft 365

Connect your Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar for the same automatic meeting detection and attendee sync.

Setup Steps:

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Calendar
  2. Click Connect Outlook Calendar
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize Karnyx
  4. Choose which calendars to sync if you have multiple

What data is accessed?

Karnyx requests read-only access to calendar events (title, time, attendees, meeting URLs). We do not access your email, files, or any other data beyond calendar events.

Messaging Integrations

Send meeting summaries and action items directly to Slack or Microsoft Teams.

Slack

Automatically post meeting summaries, action items, and transcripts to Slack channels or DMs.

Setup Steps:

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Messaging
  2. Click Connect Slack and authorize the Karnyx Slack app
  3. Configure routing rules: send summaries to specific channels based on meeting title, attendees, or workspace
  4. Choose what to share: summary only, summary + action items, or full transcript

Microsoft Teams

Post meeting intelligence to Teams channels and chat threads.

Setup Steps:

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Messaging
  2. Click Connect Microsoft Teams and sign in
  3. Grant Karnyx permission to post messages to channels
  4. Configure which channels receive summaries

Email Integration (Gmail)

Connect Gmail to enrich participant profiles with email context and send automated follow-ups.

Gmail

Karnyx can read email threads to build a more complete participant graph and optionally send automated follow-up emails with meeting summaries.

What is synced:

  • Email threads with meeting participants (for context)
  • Ability to send emails on your behalf (for follow-ups)

Setup:

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Email
  2. Click Connect Gmail and grant permissions
  3. Toggle Auto-send follow-ups if desired

Gmail Permission Scope

Karnyx only reads emails from threads involving meeting participants. We do not index your entire inbox. Email sending is opt-in and can be disabled at any time.

Notion Export

Export meeting summaries, notes, transcripts, and action items directly to Notion pages. Set up automatic exports for hands-free documentation.
