Event Notifications

  • Meeting completed: Posts a Block Kit summary card with key takeaways, action items, and a link to the full meeting.
  • Action item assigned: DMs the assignee when a new action item is extracted from a meeting.
  • Action item due: Sends a reminder when an action item is approaching its deadline.
  • Weekly digest: Posts a weekly summary of all meetings, open action items, and team activity.

Channel Routing

You can route different meeting types to different channels. For example, send engineering standup summaries to #engineering and client call summaries to #client-success.

Block Kit Summary Messages

Meeting summaries are sent as rich Block Kit messages in Slack, including:

  • Meeting title, date, and duration
  • Participant avatars and names
  • Key decisions highlighted with bullet points
  • Action items with assignees and due dates
  • A "View Full Summary" button linking to the Karnyx web app
  • Emoji reactions for quick feedback (thumbs up, eyes, pin)

In Microsoft Teams, summaries are sent as Adaptive Cards with equivalent formatting.
